If you already have a Seniors Card, you can upgrade to the Seniors Card +go and you won’t have to pay the $5 refundable card deposit. Go card for use on public transport in South East Queensland

 

3,Seniors Business Discount Card

 

If you’re not eligible for the Queensland Seniors Card or Seniors Card +go, you may still be eligible for the Seniors Business Discount Card, which offers discounts on goods and services at participating business outlets throughout Queensland.

A,Residency requirements:

 

You must be a permanent resident of Queensland.

 

You must live in Queensland for at least 6 months of the year and your home address must be shown on your driver licence or be registered as your home address with (at least) 1 of the following: 

 

Electoral Commission of Queensland

 

Centrelink

 

Commonwealth Department of Veterans’ Affairs

 

B,Age/work requirements:

 

You are 65 years or older and not working full-time*

 

You are 60–64 years, not working full-time* and the holder of one of the below: 

 

Pensioner Concession Card

 

Health Care Card

 

Commonwealth Seniors Health Card

 

Department of Veterans’ Affairs Gold, White or Orange card

 

*Not working full time means working less than 35 hours each week on average in paid employment.

 

2,Seniors Business Discount Card

There is one application process for all three card types. You will be issued with the card that offers the most benefits based on your eligibility. 

 

If you have a card but your eligibility has changed, you can update, replace or cancel your card rather than applying again.

The name on your official document must be the same name used in your application.

You can apply up to 2 months before your 60th birthday (your card will be issued when you turn 60)
